Our Process
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and the process itself shouldn’t feel overwhelming. From your first inquiry to your first session, we want you to feel informed, comfortable, and supported.
Getting Started
Once you reach out, you’ll connect directly with the therapist you’d like to work with. Choose Sonia or Clara on our contact form to connect, ask more questions or book a free 15-minute consultation. We’ll then discuss what brings you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and walk you through the next steps.
Not sure who you’d like to work with? That’s okay. Reach out and we’ll help you figure out the best next step.
Insurance & Payment
We believe therapy should be accessible and transparent. We accept various insurance plans and offer self-pay/private pay options. Before beginning services, we’ll help you understand your benefits, expected copay or coinsurance, and any out-of-pocket costs.
In-Network Plans: Aetna, Aetna Medicare, BlueCross and BlueShield, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna and Evernorth, Echo, Medicare, United Medical Resources (UMR), United Healthcare UHC| UBH
First Session
Your first session is an opportunity for us together to know one another, understand what you’re hoping to work on, and begin identifying goals for therapy.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin, we’ll take it one step at a time.
The Right Fit
Therapy is personal, and the relationship between therapist and client matters. If you’re unsure whether therapy ora particular approach is right for you, that’s okay. We’re happy to answer your questions and help you determine the best next step.
PLEASE NOTE: Insurance coverage and benefits vary by plan. We recommend confirming your mental health benefits with your insurance provider.
